REVIEW: LOREAL CUSHION NUDE MAGIQUE

L'OREAL CUSHION NUDE MAGIQUE

I must admit I'm guilty of falling for all the latest beauty trends and purchasing something just because it is the current hype. I must also admit 9 times out of 10 the product isn't worth all the hype. That being said, I defiantly think this product is worth the hype. I've been a hardcore fan of Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation for along as I can remember. However although I do still love BHMF, Loreal Cushion Nude Magique has taken over, I've been reaching for it everyday.

The foundation retails at £14.99 which is a little more pricey for a drugstore foundation, I'd say almost bordering more on the high end side when it comes to price. However I think it's worth every penny. The foundation gives the most beautiful glow whilst still covering blemishes, it also has light coverage but can easily be built up to a medium-high coverage without comprising the natural look and feel to the foundation. I wouldn't recommend using the puff provided with the foundation, I use a damp Real Techniques sponge and it blends seamlessly.

The foundation is small and compact, making it easy to carry around in your makeup bag. The only thing I don't like is not knowing how much product is left and also that it is not the easiest product to keep clean. However I'm obsessed with the way it looks on my skin, it's the best my skin has looked in a very long time. The only other problem I have with this foundation is the colour range. Usually Loreal have a great range of colours, however the range is smaller when it comes to this foundation and also the palest shade "Porcelain" is still slightly to dark for my skin. I am extremely pale though, as pale as a piece of paper! I tend to have this problem with 99% of drugstore foundations and it's something I have come to live with.

I apply a thin layer of the foundation with a damp Real Techniques sponge and let it sit for a minute, I then go back in with another thin layer. I then use the Nars Creamy Concelear under my eyes and then top it off by pressing Laura Merciers Translucent Powder into my skin and I'm obsessed with this little combination of products. I'm giving this product ***** 5 stars out of 5, my skin has never looked better.

Thank you for reading my little rambly review! Also make sure your following me on my social media as I post on them daily.
